This piece is a style that I’d seen many times, but never tried my own hand at. I wanted to have these sections that each have their own unique combination of color, direction, and form while still sharing a commonality. The borders try to hold the color in, but it just spills out on the neighbors.

Recently, I reconnected with a friend of mine and found he had started creating content on YouTube. When that usually happens, I have an internal dread that the content will suck. With this particular person, I knew I was in for a treat.
Jolly Roger Gaming is amazing. Holy shit, this is the internet content I signed up for. He has a variety of videos to have a little something for everyone. There are short comedy sketches and there are videos of him playing several different games. Captain Jolly Roger explores the wild west in Red Dead Redemption and kills dragons in Skyrim while also being a thoughtful mayor in Cities: Skylines.
There are edits and cuts in the video to minimize the boring parts of gaming. It keeps the content consistently entertaining and his commentary is top tier.
I’ve also subscribed to his Twitch stream as well because he will go on an OCD adventure in Minecraft and so rampage across a dessert in Mad Max. He interacts with the chat and keeps it lively through commentary and fantastic facial expressions.
The production quality is the best that he can currently afford to craft and he is aware that there is room for improvement. Despite the not so great quality equipment, Captain Roger does his best to craft a professional setup. The consciousness he displays to his viewers is obvious and shows he really cares about people enjoying the show.
All in all, I’d recommend his content for anyone that enjoys laughing.
For those that have not already heard of Hannah Gadsby, she has been a comedian for over a decade now. Her content has always touched upon the fact she is a lesbian and her perspective of life. In this particular special, she turns everything on its head and tells you a story that is empowering and refreshingly genuine.
I have never been so emotionally moved by a comedy show on Netflix as I have been just now. Hannah, is a strong, fierce human in her prime that is self-aware and intelligent. The inspiration granted me but her hour-long special is immense. She dissected the root of comedy and helped the audience understand exactly what it truly is. The ride that I went on with her will never be forgotten.
I don’t want to spoil the twists and turns that Hannah made during her special. I am afraid that giving you details out of context just will not do it justice. Personally, I feel that everyone needs to watch and experience it at least once in their life.
Now instead of rambling on about just how amazing it was, I am going to just recommend that you open a new tab and type “Nannet” in your Netflix search bar.
This brief yet sweet novel is a bundle of surprises. There is a very genuine and real feel to the characters as well. It has an omniscient 3rd person point of view that isn’t seen very often. It allows the reader to see into the minds of multiple characters in one scene. The main character Janie is clever, empathic, anxious, and well-rounded. There is a slight development that makes her real and interesting. One complaint I have is how quickly the romantic relationship blossomed. I feel as if it was rushed which lost some of the reality that had been well built. In spite of that, I still felt a connection with Janie and the characters she connected with. Several times I found myself covered in goosebumps and once close to tears.
As for the story itself, wow! I never would have guessed that ending. I do not want to spoil the surprise, but seriously no one will guess it. I had a few theories as developments came, but a new twist would happen that came out of left field and left me in awe. My jaw actually dropped during one such twist of events.
While reading, I found myself hoping for it to become a series so that I could continue enjoying these characters. It kept my attention and had enough scientific details as well. It truly feels as if the writer did research on the topics to integrate into the story. It made the characters more believable and the story more interesting.

This is the first painting that I have ever posted on Ebay for sale. I know that I am a novice in this field and hope to learn the ropes quickly enough to gain a sale.
While I was creating this piece, I was fascinated by the concepts of direction and contrast. The lines connect each part of the painting to another. And the blended colors are with their opposite. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed creating it. Several days and layers of paint were required to find the right way to blend the colors for the particular desired effect. At the end, I found I’d crafted something that I really wanted to just sit and look at.
Hopefully, there is a buyer out there that can look at this and see something worth viewing in their own home/office.
